Andy Bezeau is the owner, technical director and instructor of Express Hockey. A native of Saint John, New Brunswick, Andy has devoted over 30 years of his life to hockey. He began his career by playing in the local minor hockey program and eventually finished with the Triple AAA Midget Pepsi’s. He was then drafted into the OHL and had a stellar junior career with Niagara Falls Thunder.

He spent 10 years as a professional player in the NHL, AHL, IHL and ECHL. He has played with such players as Keith Primeau (Philadelphia Flyers), Rob Brown (Pittsburgh Penguins), Yanic Perreault (Montreal Canadiens), Jimmy Carson (Detroit Red Wings), Peter Skudra (Washington Capitals), Roman Turek (Calgary Flames) and Brad May (Detroit Red Wings). He was a member of the Detroit Vipers, winner of the IHL championship and was also a key player with the London Knights who won the Superleague Cup (European Championship).

Andy has devoted over 20 years as a hockey coach and instructor. He is a certified Power Skating instructor with Skate Canada and has studied under Paul Vincent and Laura Stamm, two of hockey’s top skating instructors.

Andy, a rugged and tenacious forward, has been repeatedly recognized for his passion and enthusiasm for the game and has been a fan favourite wherever he’s played. Throughout his career he has always taken time to give back to the community, including extensive involvement with the Make a Wish Foundation and the Ronald McDonald charities.

Andy emphasizes hard work, commitment and dedication in his Express Hockey Program, and these are presented in a positive and fun environment. He motivates players to reach their goals and beyond, and acts as a great role model. His relationship with his “kids” is unmatched, and his goal is to develop strong, passionate hockey players. But Andy believes that, through Express Hockey, young men and women can develop qualities that will help them succeed in all aspects of their lives.

John Mallory is the Owner Operator of Kamiza Judo and Training Studio. Kamiza is a new training facility with old ties and deep roots because of its owner John Mallory. John is currently a 5th Degree Black Belt. John has been practicing Judo in Saint John for 30 years with great success.

John is successful as a coach / trainer for some of New Brunswick’s top Judo athletes and has coached students who now own their own Judo Clubs. John is the Grading Chair for New Brunswick Judo and was recently promoted to a National B Kata Scoring Board.

Andy truly believes in the Better Athlete Better Player philosophy. Judo is a combative sport that relies heavily on not only core strength but strength of character. With the extensive coaching experience and attitude towards training, the Kamiza Judo and Training Studio, led by John Mallory, is a perfect for Express athletes to train and grow.

Devin Wilson is currently a Jr Instructor operating with Kamiza Judo & Training Studio. At the current age of 14 Devin has been a student of Judo for 5 years. Devin has completed at International, National, Provincial and Regional levels.

Devin is being mentored by elite athletes fom such organizations as Kamniza, Shimpokai and Express Hockey. Devin also attends training camps on a regula bases facilitated by not only current members of the Canadain Nationl team but former olympians.

Most recently Devin tried his hand at coaching several competiros during the 2012 Shimpokai youth Judomtournamanert where several of his athletes walked away with medals ranging from Bronze to Gold.
